Environmental Testing  Environmental tests are primarily performed on electronic products to ensure their quality over life. End of life issues such as component failures, degradation in performance, malfunctioning electronics, cracks/leaks in protective housing can be simulated at the design stage. Thus identifying issues early in the product development cycle. During environmental testing the product is forced to fail as it would during its life. The failures modes are then investigated and corrective design actions are undertaken / suggested by Global EMC. |
